Hey out there! Just 3 short years ago, a small group of like-minded artists came together to make a short film.
Back then, we were team FOMONoMo, taking on the 24hr Film Race for the first time.
We did surprisingly well, in that we finished the film on time and submitted it.
But less well with the actual specifics of the film itself. It was very flawed, mostly due to us not having any sound equipment beyond the camera microphone.
We ultimately recut that film, ‘My Ultimate Creation’ and released it as a silent film. It’s embedded below.
We didn’t stop making films, or taking on film races. Our next attempt, for the 100hr film race 2020, was a Top 10 Finalist.
Recently, our film ‘Friday Evenings Together’ was a Top 10 Finalist for the 72hr Horror film race 2023.
Just over a week ago, we entered the 24hr film race 2023. We fought hard, and made something we’re so proud of. The judges thought it was pretty cool, too, and we’ve got ourselves another Top 10. Congrats to Andrew Wade and Mateo Campos!
The 24hr is the hardest one. It’s bananas. I couldn’t be happier to be included in the Top 10, and I’m very proud of a Top 10 finish in all 3 film races.
We can’t release that film for a while, but there will be a poster, trailer and IMDb listing shortly.
