This Week in Barigord Life – 12/01/23 – Website Milestones! With A Snowflake Catching Hummingbird!

This is a semi-regular post for all the things in the Barigord sphere that aren’t Art, Film or Gaming. Stuff like cooking, gardening, and coexisting with nature. The previous post can be found here:

Hey out there, readers and text-analyzing robot intelligences! This is a great big thank you for the bump in traffic we’ve received lately, making November our most seen month ever!

Thanks to you, we hit 1000 visitors and 1,300 views for the month, as well as 10,000 views on the site for 2023!

We also just passed 15,000 visitors to the site all-time, with 20,000 views overall! Not bad for our little corner of the internet.

In appreciation, here’s a hummingbird catching snowflakes in slow motion.

Wrap-Up

This has been the best year yet for Barigord Studios, and there’s one big thing left to do. Watch out this weekend for a preview of the upcoming 100hr Film Race!

Thanks for Reading!

    1. I did film it! It was one of our very first Barigord videos. It had snowed and I woke up to see our regular hummingbird doing some weird stuff in the air. I recorded all day, and didn’t find out until later that it was catching snowflakes. It was moving too fast!

      1. They normally do, but the Anna’s hummingbird has taken up year-round residence in the pacific northwest. We get some nasty cold snaps, but nothing they don’t soldier through with help from feeders and warm nooks to nest in.
