Hey there animation lovers! Over the past few weeks, we’ve been working on a new short film! Like our treatment of the Steveston SalmonFest parade 2021, it is stop-motion animation, featuring Lego bricks! Without further ado, here it is:
And for those of you that want to watch the dancers, here’s that video too:
These films were shot on location at the Richmond Library and Cultural Centre, and of course at Barigord Studios, our home base.
The Dancer sequences in the second half of the video were generated with the help of attendees of BC Culture Days on Saturday, September 25th, 2021. Participants were able to design and build their own minifigure (to take home!) and then take that fig to the mini green screen to show off their moves.
Thank you to everyone that gave us your moves! You rocked it, and we hope we did your imaginations justice!
If you want to know more about any part of the process, please let us know in the comments, or send us an email at barigordstudios@gmail.com
