This is an occasional look of what’s happening in the world of Barigord arts, often published on the weekend! While we’re probably best known for making films, we dabble in all sorts of other art forms. Plus we love to share and connect! Leave a comment or a link so we can see your artwork too!

Hey there film lovers! We have wrapped on Day 2 of the 100hr International Film Race 2023. There are two full days, and most of Monday left.

We’re in really good shape, even getting some footage I thought we’d have to get tomorrow.

To recap, our required elements are:

Theme – Madness

Action – Coughing

Prop – A Doll

Without giving away too much, I can say that our script revolves around an Artist character. A painter. Today we put together a little studio, and filmed in it. I also did some paintings to use for the film. Here’s some behind-the-scenes shots from today!

Making a painting for the film!

The results! Several quick pieces of ‘artwork.’ They were painted on some discarded poster board I salvaged.

The Art Studio set. Totally believable, right? Our living room is a pretty talented actor.

Getting ready to shoot! I fully shaved my head for the role. One thing I always do before these film contests is grow out my beard and head hair. That way I can trim them down to whatever we need. We’re using the full beard this time. Can’t wait to get rid of it on Monday!

Andrew in his new role as Baby Left Shark! He’ll be a meme before we know it!

This is actually a real costume from the film! It’s a fun onesie that Andrew made into a ‘Street Shark’ Hallowe’en costume, which explains all the tire marks. There were some cool road signs on it, but they had to come off for the film. How does it fit into our narrative? You’ll have to wait to see the film to find out!!

Conclusion

A terrific second day, and before we know it, it’ll be tomorrow and we’ll be back at it! G’night!
